It's time to get back to a Constitutional Republic where spending is authorized only on those items enumerated in Article 1, Section 8. If people want to expand the role of the Federal Government into other areas, we already have a process to do that. It's called a Constitutional Amendment. All spending that is appropriated for ANY program that is outside the scope of Article 1, Section 8, and amendments, should be immediately cut to zero. The states have a right to take back our country. We didn't authorize the Federal Government to regulate our toilets, educate our children, or provide debit cards when people's houses get destroyed by hurricanes; therefore, they CANNOT DO THESE FUNCTIONS!
